Art student with a focus in animation.
Trying to figure out life and having a good time doing it. :]
So I really just wanted a place to collect some animations that inspire me and reblog random things. Soon I'll upload some of my own animations.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Pug animation I made. :)
I was really excited to complete this animation. I’ve been a fan of Davidope’s looping gif animations for a while now and wanted to do a study piece based off of one of his designs. The idea behind this piece was to create an animation that can loop infinitely. It took some time to figure out how many rotations the sphere could make so that it would loop seamlessly from the end and back to the start. I also have in mind to create something that can react to sound. Right now its just “static” and isn’t scripted to react to anything. I manually set the speed of the spin of the outer sphere and manually set the pulse of the inner sphere. To further my piece, just as a personal project, I will script it to react to a song and will it will serve as a visualizer. Different parts of the sphere (outer, inner, glow, speed, size, and color) will react to volume, beat, sound, etc..
